- SM&NC Farm Market in Stamford until October 26th

- Edible Gardening in Stamford on September 28th
From 4:30pm to 5:30pm – Members: $$5.00/Non-Members: $10.00 Rain or Shine

- Greenwich’s 3rd Annual Banksville Harvest Fest on September 29th

- Stamford’s Outdoor Canning Demo on September 29th
From 10:30am to 11:30am – Free
Held at the Bartlett’s Vegetable Garden. Master Gardener, Cynthis Lup, will demo how to can tomatoes, beans, cucumbers and whatever else is ready at that time, using a simple water bath method. - Stratford’s 35th Annual Harvest Festival on September 30th

- Fairfield’s Hill Farm Fall Festival on October 6th

- Trumbull’s 36th Annual Apple Fest from October 5th & 6th
From 10am to 5pm – Free
Good old fashioned family fun. Home-made apple pies, baked goods, kids zone, face painting, games and children’s crafts. Trumbull’s Music Mandy will perform that Sunday. Trumbull Animal Group will be there with animals to adopt. Raffle including iPad and other great items. Local Businesses with their crafts as well. - Southington’s Apple Harvest Fest from September 28th to October 7th

- Berlin Fair from October 5th to 7th
Fri – 9am to 10pm; Sat & Sun – 10am to 7pm – Adults – $12.00/kids 11 & under – Free
Started as a Harvest Fest and became a state agricultural fair in early 1900′s. Pie-catching contests, frog jumping, large animals, crafts exhibits and live entertainment. At the Berlin Fairgrounds, 430 Beckley Road, East Berlin.
- Harwinton Fair from October 6th to 7th
Sat – 8am to 8pm; Sun – 8am to 5pm/Adults – $7.00/kids 12 & under – Free
Its 154th year offers classic agricultural entertainment with marching bands, fiddlers, country groups, demo on pioneer cooking, blacksmithing and other skills. Also a Rabbit Costume contest, (not what it sounds; its actually a costume for rabbits…poor rabbits). At the Harwinton Fairgrounds, 150 Locust Road, Harwinton. www.HarwintonFair.com
